Five Journeys

I have been going to Five Journeys for almost a year using Medical IV therapy. I can’t begin to describe how very grateful to have this service available but to have 2 very caring and compassionate nurses to be taken care of! Maren and Lauren are not only very professional and knowledgeable in what they do in delivering the highest standard of care possible! They go beyond making your visit not only comfortable and explaining everything what needs to be done. They are both empathetic and very kind. Both true nurses with their dedication and commitment to patient advocacy. Highly recommend Five Journeys!

I joined in July 2023 and so far am suitably impressed! Perhaps it’s because I’m used to a “typical” doctors offfice that I’m wondering if there is something missing. When I meet with my PCP We don’t necessarily go to a procedure room. Instead we get together in a comfortable office. One concern is whether they are truly prepared for every day medical needs as well as the functional side for which they are definitely prepared. I had to get stitches removed and the ER that put them in suggested going to my PCP for removal. The doc at five journeys wasn’t sure they had a stitches removal kit and hadn’t prepared based on my reason for setting up the appointment. Not a big deal. Getting used to a new model for medicine. The nutritionist I’ve met with twice so far is excellent. Solid advice based on ME not some generic white 64 yr old female. I do have to teach my PCP to look at me more than the computer screen but that’s a common issue in zoom era (we were in person). I’ll update as my experience grows. My 3 yr old toddler used my phone while the stitches were being removed. Good shot even if it does show my weight issue all too clearly.

This is the best functional medicine practice I’ve been to. Maren and Lauren are so helpful, informative, and accommodating in the IV room. I’ve had a few complications with some health issues and Maren has always been patient and knowledgeable in the best treatment options for me, even if some weren’t working. She has spent a considerable amount of time helping me navigate various medical diagnosis and always made sure I was informed about the treatments. Edward is also a gem.

As an existing patient with 5 Journey’s for over a year now, I can confidently say that the team I’ve partnered with has given me my health and quality of life back! My PCP Dr Lavena and Nutritionist Stacy DeLuca have been the most incredible support system over the past year, and have taken such time and care in making sure my health journey was effective and attainable for long term health. They looked at every aspect of my overall well-being to ensure no stone was left unturned. The care didn’t end there. Their office and admin team have been extremely professional and hospitable throughout my time as a patient, and Elise on the administrative team has been a wonderful resource for appointment setting, follow-ups, and quick supplement shipments and refills. Thank you to the entire 5 Journey’s team for all of the work you do!

The IV nurses at Five Journeys especially Maren and Lauren are always very caring, attentive and efficient. They are extremely friendly and knowledgeable as well. The new IV room is spacious and very peaceful with a view of some nature. Scheduling is easy. I have been going there for my heavy metal detox IV as well as wellness IV when I felt sick here and there. I highly recommend then.
